I was very happy to produce a pencil sketch of the lovely Winnie for a good friend of mine recently. It’s a completely different experience producing a likeness for someone – there’s a responsibility in getting it right and capturing the personality behind the reference photos. Our pets are part of the family, so it’s a privilege to create a lasting memory after they’ve gone.
